"Chocolate Bar" is a mill dyed wool fabric in a beautiful shade of brown. The texture is a herringbone with narrow windowpanes of rust and light brown. The windowpane is about 2" and very muted. The color reminds me of chocolate or coffee, brown bears or horses. The third photo shows the size of the windowpane. The fourth photo shows it with listing W451, Golden Brown Plaid, just for a comparative. Here's a link to that listing:

Select the size you would like to work with in the options box: Fat Quarters are approximately 16" x 28" and Fat Eighths are approx. 14" x 16" It is a medium weight and is great for primitive rug hooking cuts of #8 or wider and all applique or craft projects.
A great piece to add to your other browns and blacks and dark values in backgrounds and borders. Hook or applique bears, horses, dogs and many other animals, too.

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
