3) fat quarters called "Black Pack" include a plain black flannel, a striped black and charcoal reversible, and a striped black and gray texture. Each piece measure approximately 16" x 28".
These three fat quarters would make a great mixed background in a hooked rug. Enough here for hooking the background in a medium size rug. Take a close look at the photos, the reversible piece is on the lighter charcoal side in photos 1 and 2. The 3rd photo shows the darker side on top of the bundle of three and the lighter side to the right of the bundle.
Fabulous blacks that will mix wonderfully to create a night sky, black cats, crows, and other black animals, black clothing, fields, borders, backgrounds. All these pieces are medium weight, 100% new wool fabrics. They are suitable for wide cut hooking (#8 (1/4" wide) strips and wider. A must-have for your primitive stash :)
Also great for use in appliqué, and many sewing projects such as quilting, clothing, handbags, pillows, sachets, hats, scarves, mittens, stuffed animals, pin cushions...so many ideas :)

Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.

Which Backing Fabric should I choose?
Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Do you refund shipping overage charges?
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
