Wool Pack to hook "Floral Motif" 16" x 16", a rug hooking pattern designed by me. The wool pack comes with a list of wool included and short description of where to use each wool.

This wool pack includes 100% wool fabrics, both mill dyed and hand dyed, that I have prepared for rug hooking by washing and drying to tighten up the weave (fulled).
The wool pack can be purchased uncut ready for your cutter, or if you do not have a cutter, you can choose the option to have it cut in a #8 cut (1/4 wide strips). The pack includes a generous amount for this pattern so that you will have enough to complete the rug and leftovers. However, if you hook higher or tighter than I do, you may need more wool and are welcome to purchase additional.
The photos include a finished sample of the rug to give you an idea of the how I hooked it. I used a #8 cut (1/4" wide strips). It is very fun and fast to hook, a great pattern for beginners and veteran rug hookers.
If you have never hooked a rug in the primitive rug hooking style, I recommend that you sign up for a class to learn the technique. If you have plans to attend a class or workshop, this pattern and wool pack would be a great option to take to class.
Colors in the wool pack include dark brown textures for the background, reds and gold for the flowers and light and mediumd greens for the leaves.

You will also need a rug hooking frame or heavy duty wooden hoop. You can "google" rug hooking frames for many choices.

Custom and personalized orders
Please feel free to contact me about special orders by clicking on the "request a custom order" button. I have a lot of inventory that is not listed.
If you are looking for a specific color or texture, I will be happy to check my inventory. If you are able to send a photo, that is a great help to me in understanding what you are looking for.
Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.
Designs and patterns that have been customized and/or personalized cannot be returned.
Which Backing Fabric should I choose?
Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Do you refund shipping overage charges?
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
