Snowmen Mug Rugs, DIY Rug Hooking, WP215, Wool Pack Only or Kit with wool pack and pattern, Snowman Wool, Winter Coasters

Shipping to United States: Free

Snowmen Mug Rugs can be purchased with various options:
*** WOOL PACK alone, if you just like the colors and want to draw up your own design or have already purchased the pattern separately.
*** WOOL PACK with PATTERN if you want to hook these four adorable little Snowmen Mug Rugs.
Also choose to purchase the wool uncut OR cut in #8 (1/4" wide) strips.

A great wool pack for other rug hooking and applique projects, too :)

If you have already purchased the pattern from me, choose just the wool pack with uncut or cut wool. If you purchase the pattern and wool pack, (kit) it will include the pattern with a color photo, the wool pack and an instruction sheet with tips to finish your rug mugs.

The wool pack includes more than enough wool to hook 4 snowmen mug rugs and an 1/8 yard for finishing the backs of the mug rugs. To get the variety of colors for the hats and snowmen, I have included more wool than is needed, but leftover strips are great for hooking more mug rugs or Christmas ornaments :).

Here is a link to a snowmen ornaments pattern that you could use for your leftovers!

Wool selection may vary slightly from the originals in the photos, but will give the same scrappy look.

If you choose the option to have the wool cut into #8 (1/4" wide) strips, the 1/8 yard for the backs of the mug rugs wool will not be cut.

The pattern and wool pack (kit) does NOT include a hook or instructions on how to hook. See below for links to hooking supplies.

There is a generous amount of wool in this wool pack. The amount of wool is based on how much I used to hook these four mug rugs plus extra. If you hook higher or tighter than I do, or with a different cut than #8, you may need extra wool and are welcome to purchase more.

If you would like to purchase just the PATTERN without the wool:

Hooks are available in the Hooking Supplies Section:§ion_id=7706447

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Custom and personalized orders

Please feel free to contact me about special orders by clicking on the "request a custom order" button. I have a lot of inventory that is not listed.

If you are looking for a specific color or texture, I will be happy to check my inventory. If you are able to send a photo, that is a great help to me in understanding what you are looking for.

Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.

Designs and patterns that have been customized and/or personalized cannot be returned.

Which Backing Fabric should I choose?

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.

Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.

Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.

Do you refund shipping overage charges?

Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
