This listing is for the rug hooking PATTERN "Poinsettia Mug Rugs" hand drawn by me on your choice of cotton monks cloth or primitive linen. This is for the PATTERN ONLY, not the finished mats.
These four mug rugs measure approximately 4.5" x 4.5" each and are hand drawn on the backing fabric with 4" inch borders to make it fit on most rug hooking frames. The raw edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling while hooking.
You will receive a color photo with purchase along with instructions on how to finish them after hooking. These finished samples give you an idea of how I hooked them. Christmas reds, greens and a bit of rose along with the light background wool make up these flowers.
This pattern is such a fun small project that hooks up quickly. It would make an ideal hostess gift. Have a stack ready for holding that cup of coffee, tea or cocoa. Your mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter or best friend would be delighted to receive these mug rugs.
The fifth photo shows the mug rugs with the coordinating Poinsettia Mat, listing P116:

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
