Rug Hooking PATTERN, Bunny Mat, 8" x 8", P152, DIY Primitive Rug pattern, Wide Cut Rug Hooking

Shipping to United States: $4.75

This listing is for the rug hooking pattern for "Bunny Mat", 8" x 8" This is for the pattern ONLY. The finished rug is used as an example only and is not included in the listing.

This is a great beginner project but also a quick project for the veteran hooker to give as a gift or to use to teach someone to hook. It makes a great tea or coffee trivet.

Collect your favorite spring colors, your favorite bunny colors and you're ready to go or see below for the option to purchase as a kit.

I will hand draw the pattern on either cotton monks cloth or primitive linen, choose your preference in the drop down box. (See FAQ for more info on foundation fabric.) The foundation fabric measures about 19" x 20 and I have serged any outside raw edges to prevent raveling while hooking.

You can also purchase the pattern and wool together in a kit, see listing:

This piece is also a companion piece to my Woodland Bunny Chair Pad:

Please feel free to contact me about special orders by clicking on the "request a custom order" button. I have a lot of inventory that is not listed.

If you are looking for a specific color or texture, I will be happy to check my inventory. If you are able to send a photo, that is a great help to me in understanding what you are looking for.

Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.

Designs and patterns that have been customized and/or personalized cannot be returned.

Which Backing Fabric should I choose?

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.

Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.

Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.

Do you refund shipping overage charges?

Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.

This is the second time I purchased this bunny pattern (and I might even purchase another one--to do a project for me.) Both my godchildren have pet rabbits, so you know how it is: can't make a project for one child, and leave out the other child. Designs in Wool patterns are expertly drawn, delightful to hook and arrived quickly. Designs in Wool is a fantastic shop!

LOVE this bunny pattern! It's the perfect size (8 by 8) for a gift and drawn so beautifully so Monk's Cloth. I'm a repeat customer of Designs In Wool; the quality is always excellent, the customer service is outstanding, and the shipping is fast. Highly recommend this wonderful shop!

As a returning customer, I am always happy when I receive a package from this shoppe...many thanks!
