Old Cupboard Blue, 4) Fat Eighths, Hand Dyed Wool for Rug Hooking and Applique, W502, light medium blue textures
These 4) fat eighths are 100% new wool fabrics that I have hand dyed using a recipe I call Old Cupboard Blue. The pieces lean to the warm side of blue although there are some hints of grayed purple swirling through some areas. They are ready to use for rug hooking, applique, stitcheries, sewing and crafting.
I love how this blue flows over the pieces with a gentle mottling effect. Perfect for skies, water, flowers, petals, pastures and hills, berries, blue pumpkins and old farmhouse cupboards!
Use for rug hooking, wool appliqué, stitchery projects, quilts, pincushions, doll clothes, hats, purses, totes, table mats, pin keepers and more.
The pieces measure approximately 13" x 15" to 14" x 16" each. Each is unique. All these pieces are medium weight. For rug hooking they are suitable for wide cut hooking #7 cuts and wider.
Please be aware that your monitor or screen may display colors differently than the actual in person color, depending on your monitor settings. I try to get as close to possible as I see the color, but it may look different in your home lighting and depending on the time of day and amount of light. They are a very pretty shade of blue.

Custom and personalized orders
Please feel free to contact me about special orders by clicking on the "request a custom order" button. I have a lot of inventory that is not listed.
If you are looking for a specific color or texture, I will be happy to check my inventory. If you are able to send a photo, that is a great help to me in understanding what you are looking for.
Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.
Designs and patterns that have been customized and/or personalized cannot be returned.
Which Backing Fabric should I choose?
Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Do you refund shipping overage charges?
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
