This listing is for four Christmas ornaments hand drawn on primitive linen, just waiting for you to rug hook :) The ornaments measure about 5" x 3" or so when hooked. The choices included in this listing are: snowman, cardinal, sheep and star.
You will receive a color photo and tips for finishing the ornaments.
The ornaments are hand drawn by me on your choice of foundation fabric, either primitive linen or cotton monks cloth. This foundation piece measures about 19" x 20" and will fit on most lap frames or 14" hoops or smaller. Raw edges have been serged to prevent raveling while hooking.
Included in the photos are samples of the ornaments that I hooked for this design. They are so much fun to hook and don't take too much time. They are just waiting for you to finish them so they can hang on your primitive Christmas tree or grace a little one's doorknob or hang by ribbon from the garland on your stair rail.

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.

I’m delighted with this purchase. It arrived quickly and I’ve already completed the snowman and bird. I’m grateful for the clear directions on how to finish the ornaments. For once I’ll be able to finish in time for Christmas gifting.
