Rug Hooking PATTERN, Three Snowy Pines, 10" x 20", P167, Primitive Rug Hooking, Folk Art DIY Rug Pattern

Shipping to United States: $4.75

This listing is for the rug hooking pattern "Three Snowy Pines" on your choice of cotton monks cloth or primitive linen. This is for the PATTERN ONLY. Rug Photo for illustration only.

The design is 10" x 20" and is hand drawn with 4" inch borders. The edges of the backing fabric have been serged to prevent raveling.
The pattern is available on your choice of monks cloth or primitive linen. A 4" x 6" photo is attached.

This pattern is fun and easy to hook up. It will bring joy to your holidays or make a great gift for that special someone on your list who loves all things primitive and snowy holidays!
I hooked my version with lights on the trees. For another ideas, see 3rd photo. My good rug hooking friend, Mary Ann, added snow falling in the sky.

I used a #8 cut (1/4" wool strips) and made it into a pillow which fits perfectly into an easy chair. For the background I chose a variety of left over dark plaids over dyed black. I love the dark sky night with hints of blue, purple, red, and green. For the trees and border I used a mix of greens. The stars and beauty line are mustard gold and dirty white snow in a mix of textures finishes it off.

If you are looking for a specific color or texture, I will be happy to check my inventory. If you are able to send a photo, that is a great help to me in understanding what you are looking for.

Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.

Which Backing Fabric should I choose?

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.

Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.

Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.

Do you refund shipping overage charges?

Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.

Love this pattern! It's very elegant, but still retains a wonderfully primitive look. This is my second time buy from Designs in Wool, and I highly recommend this wonderful shop! Gorgeous patterns, fair pricing, and quick shipping.

This is the second time I've bought this pattern - so cute. This one will be a gift for my daughter. Thanks, Mary!

Received this pattern along with the wool pack quickly. Mary is very attentive and responds to questions right away. I hooked this rug and it is beautiful - I'll be making it into a pillow for a Christmas gift. Mary was able to also provide uncut wool for me to use for the back of the pillow. I'll post a picture when I'm done. Will definitely shop here again.
