This listing is for the PATTERN "Black Capped Chickadee". A DIY project that will finish 14" round. A wonderful project that you can make up into a chair pad or table mat. It will hook up quickly for you to enjoy all through the year.
This listing DOES NOT include the finished chair pad shown in the photo. It has been included for you to see how I hooked up my design.
I hooked the Chickadee with various blacks, grays, neutrals and whites. Those colors were brought out to the border. I used red oranges for the berries and a coupe of greens for the leaves. The background was various textures that I over dyed with a warm light blue recipe.
In this listing you are purchasing the PATTERN only, hand drawn on your choice of either cotton monks cloth or primitive linen.
I have serged the raw edges of the foundation fabric which measures about 22" x 22" making it big enough to fit on your lap frames or hoops.
Cotton monks cloth is good for all cuts of wool strips from narrow to wide. Primitive linen is great for #7 cuts and higher, great for wide cut hooking.

Special Orders are non returnable. Wool Kits and Wool Packs that have been cut in strips for rug hooking are not refundable.
Designs and patterns that have been customized and/or personalized cannot be returned.
Which Backing Fabric should I choose?
Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Do you refund shipping overage charges?
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.

This is my third chair pad love these birds . There fun and work up fast and if you get the kit it's easy just cut your noodles and go.

Absolutely perfect pattern drawn on the monks cloth. I have enjoyed many hours of rug punching without having to transfer or draw patterns. Each purchaser can make this product their own by changing up the background colors. No two will be the same. Very clearly described and shipped promptly. Ill be watching items from this seller.
