It's so wonderful to be surrounded with wool...the textures, the patterns, the colors!  My pattern designs are greatly influenced by my love for folk art and simple geometric lines. 
Many of the designs are inspired by antique rugs and stories of the early days of rug hooking. 
Whimsical designs, lack of perspective, geometric lines and use of material at hand inspire me to reflect on my own heritage and draw from my environment.
