This listing is for one fat quarter yard of mill dyed 100% wool fabric. I have machine washed and dried it with fluffy towels in the dryer.
This wool fabric is a wonderful deep warm red with a primitive gold double windowpane. The size is approximately 16" x 28" and it is a medium weight good for wide cut hooking, #7 cuts and wider.
A wonderful addition to your wool stash. It is ready for you to use in rug hooking, applique, penny rugs, quilts, sewing projects and craft projects. It mixes great with other reds for a gorgeous background. Also use for flowers, barns, houses, sheds, gardens, animals, and so much more. Add to your penny rugs and applique projects. It is great to work with and is completely ready to use.

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
