This listing is for one fat quarter or fat eighth of mill dyed 100% wool fabric in a large plaid called Autumn's Calling.
The wool is a beautiful large plaid (rectangles are about 2" x 3") of red, golden orange, blue, blue green. The colors are muted and soft.
The weave is so wonderful... some of the rectangles are heathers and some have narrow red stripes running through.
A fat quarter is approximately 16" x 28", a fat eighth approximately 14" x 16".
I have washed and dried this piece and it is just perfect to use in rug hooking, applique, quilting, embroidery and sewing projects.
Add this to your fall projects, or mix it with other reds for a beautiful background or border.
It's great for use in flowers, vines running through a light background, beauty lines, houses and barns, Christmas projects.
Photos were taken under bright studio lighting. This plaid may appear more subdued in your home lighting.

Cotton Monks Cloth is 100% cotton woven with two warp threads and two weft threads has 12 x 13 holes per inch. It is great for hooking with all cuts of wool, from fine to primitive cuts. It is less expensive than primitive linen.
Primitive linen is 100% linen, the most durable backing fabric. It is more expensive than other backing fabrics. The evenly spaced weave of 12 x 12 threads per inch makes it great for all primitive cuts, #7 and wider.
Beginners usually have an easier time hooking with linen.
Both are fine and long lasting choices for the backing to support and make your hooked rug durable. I use both types, but usually choose linen for larger projects.
Yes, if the difference is $3.00 or more. Etsy calculations, especially on orders with multiple items, can add up to more than the actual shipping. I will let you know when your order is ready to ship if you will be receiving a shipping refund.
