NEW DESIGNS:  I have designed a number of patterns that I like to call "Love" patterns!   They will make wonderful wedding rugs or gifts for new babies or for almost any special occasion where you want to make a special rug for a person you love!

"Love Runner".  At 12" x 36" and simplicity of design, this rug can be hooked up quickly and make a wonderful statement about LOVE!  The heart is the central element in this designs whether in the central motif or the leaves or the flowers.  Have fun with this one!
$40.00 on Monks;  $56.00 Linen

Dates and/or initials or names can be added to the pattern to personalize it for your special occasion!  Call or email me to order your pattern on monks or linen.

Hearts Abound,  24" x 32".  It would make a wonderful wedding gift.  I envision the hearts in the corner and border as being understated with just a hint of an outline.  Of course, all dates, initials or words can be custom added to suit your occasion.
$50.00 Monks Cloth, $70.00 Linen

"Daisy and Hearts" surround a heart with the year of marriage or other special occasion.  The size of this rug is 25" x 35".  Choose colors to compliment the bride and groom's color choices or hook it up in antique primitive colors.  A baby girl would have a treasure indeed if this design were hooked in soft pastels.
$55.00 Monks Cloth; $77.00 Linen

"A Day to Remember"  14" x 30".  This would be a great size to give as a gift.  It will hook up quickly.  Choose a date or initials to put in the center heart.  Make it look like an antique primitive or lighten it up with the popular bright colors of the day.   It could be hung on a wall or fit nicely on a bench or hearth.
$45.00 Monks;  $63.00 Linen

"Love Penny Rug" 18" x 26".  Penny Rugs are so much fun to hook.  Take a look at my Penny Rug Welcome to see an example of how to get a primitive look.  This design is even popular with more those who favor more of a modern look.  The words in the middle could be changed to a date or name.
$35.00 on Monks, $48.00 on Linen

CELEBRATION XVIII  Rug Hooking Magazine
I was thrilled that one of my hooked rugs had been selected to receive an honorable mention in this year's Celebration of Hand-Hooked Rugs XVIII contest!  My rug entitled "Mom, Alvin and Shep" is included in the publication that hit the shelves in August.  It also took part in a special exhibit, Celebration XVIII at the Sauder Village Rug Hooking Week held August 13 - August 16, 2008.  Visit their website to find out all about Rug Hooking Week!  www.saudervillage.org

I hooked this rug for my mother's 89th birthday.  I received great lessons on hooking a rug from a photograph from my teacher, Jan Mostrom, at a Northern Lights Primitive Rug Hooking Camp in Crosslake, MN.   My mom was thrilled to see a little snap shot of her youth transformed into a colorful rug!
