What a beautiful time of year to be up North!
The workshop is held at the Edgewater Conference Center with views of
Lake Superior. I will be teaching primitive rug hooking, with
lessons on color planning and hooking technique.

Individual Lessons

Available by appointment upon request. $20/hour. Do
you just need a little help with technique or color planning?
Trying to remember how to hook? Or maybe you've never tried.
Individual lessons are a great way to give you the confidence you need
to get going...or get going again! Sometimes an hour or two is all
you need. Please email to talk about dates and times.
Monthly Hook-ins:
Informal "get-togethers" in my studio for a time of
working on our projects and socializing.
Dates: Saturdays: September 20, October 18,
November 15, December 13th, 2008 Time: 9 am-3 pm
or
Mondays:
September 22, October 20, November 17, December 15th,
2008 Time:
9 am-3 pm
There will be no
cost to attend the hook-ins. I will have coffee and beverages on hand
along with snacks. Please feel free to bring a bag lunch. Bring
your projects and your friends and we'll have a great time!
This will not be a teaching time for me but I will be happy to help you
with any questions you might have about the projects you are working on.
I have lots of hand dyed wool on hand, also washed and ready to hook "as
is" wool, and many patterns and supplies.
Email if you would like to join one (or both!) groups. Also, I
do not have emails for many of the wonderful rug hookers I have met at
Richfield, Stillwater and at other various hook-ins, so if you know
anyone who is interested in joining a rug hooking group, please pass
this message on to them. Sign up limited to first eight
registrants.
